Following in the footsteps of CNN’s Anderson Cooper, National Geographic’s Lisa Ling, and the Today Show’s Maria Menounos, Dickens took the reigns as Channel One host in 2004. In addition to hosting a wide variety of celebrity guests and rock

concerts, Dickens reported live from Vatican Cityduring the Pope’s funeral, live on election night, and from the sidelines of the Superbowl.

Dickens grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, and before earning her Government degree from Harvard University, she represented her Swedish homeland on the National Women’s Lacrosse Team in the European Championship.

Dickens burst onto the entertainment scene in 2001, bringing Jeopardy! viewers along for the adventure as she drove NASCAR stock cars at alarming speeds, wrangled some of the world’s deadliest animals, and visited history’s most

fascinating sites. As one of Jeopardy!’s on-air personalities, Dickens embarked on a three year promotional tour, appearing on national and regional morning shows across the country and hosting state-wide events.

Currently, as the west coast correspondent for Hollywood Heat on Tru TV, Dickens goes one-on-one with Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, covers red carpet premiers and awards shows, and takes her viewers behind the scenes with the casts of television’s most popular shows.
